Ian was born and raised in Raymond, Maine, where he grew up on the shores of Thomas Pond. After graduating from Windham High School in 2012, he pursued higher education at the University of Southern Maine before transferring to the University of Maine Orono. There, he studied psychology, played rugby, and formed lifelong friendships. After college, Ian joined Maine’s booming craft beer industry, working as a delivery driver for a beer distributor. This role allowed him to explore parts of Maine he had never seen before, and he quickly fell in love with the rocky coast and rich history of the mid-coast region, prompting him to move to Topsham.

After a couple of years behind the wheel, Ian sought more of a challenge and transitioned to the company’s sales department. His natural sociability and love for meeting new people served him well in this role, allowing him to hone his communication and relationship-building skills. However, the global pandemic soon hit, and Ian was furloughed from his sales job. What seemed like a setback at the time turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as it gave him the opportunity to dive headfirst into real estate, a field that had long piqued his interest. After years of listening to real estate investing podcasts during his long drives, Ian decided to pursue his real estate license. Once furloughed, he took the plunge, found his true calling, and hasn’t looked back since.

Ian’s passion lies in lakefront and coastal properties, a reflection of his upbringing on the lake and the years he spent on the mid-coast. These Maine properties, which epitomize the essence of Vacationland, are his favorite segments of real estate. Ian loves helping his clients realize their dreams of owning their own piece of quintessential Maine.

When he’s not immersed in real estate, Ian enjoys spending time with friends, obsessively watching football, playing with his dogs, and indulging in his passion for cars.
